In 2012 TARA was formed on the basis of concern for woven craftsmen who have not been empowered and have very little income, and the increasingly fading prestige of manual embroidery which is increasingly eroded by technological advances. Because of this, TARA was formed specifically to produce bags made from manual embroidery, as well as producing various kinds of woven bags of various materials including banana fronds, water hyacinth, pandanus, mendong, agel, leather, even from polyester fabrics. TARA puts forward woven crafts and manual embroidery because Rajapolah has a high potential in the art of weaving and manual embroidery. As a young generation, TARA wants to preserve weaving and manual embroidery, which is currently hardly in demand by the younger generation. To revive the spirit of weaving and embroidering TARA seeks to embrace the younger generation by providing an understanding that the art of weaving and manual embroidery have high economic value. On the other hand TARA wants to open jobs and make the name of the region scent.
