This Jambe-e House product originated from the Research of a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Technology, University of Jambi on the Utilization of Areca Midrib Waste. Against the background of the problems we face together today, which arise from the living habits of modern society who want all things fast, easy and practical, including serving food using disposable containers. but unfortunately, these disposable plates are made from plastic and styrofoam whose waste is very difficult to decompose back into nature. In addition, plastic plates and styrofoam are suspected to contain styrene compounds that are harmful to human health (cancer triggers). Answering these problems, we from Rumah Jambe-e present Jambe-e Plates as a solution. As the name implies, we make this Jambe-e Plate from the Midrib of the Jambe-e Tree or what we usually know as the Areca Tree. We made this plate only by going through a physical process or without the addition of any chemicals so that the jambe-e plate is able to inherit the original properties of the areca nut, which is Food Grade and Eco-friendly. Currently we have 10 product sizes with different shapes. starting from 5 Inch Round Bowl, 7 Inch Round Plate, 7x7 Inch Square Plate, 6x8.5 Inch Square Plate, 6.5x8 Inch Square Plate, 6x9 Inch Square Plate, 7.5 Inch Round Bowl, 6x9 Inch Square Bowl and two plates 10 inch round with different designs.
